1, Map and Interface layout
This caught my attention the most, other DF """inspired""" games remotely look like this. RimWorld, for example, has its unique map layout that makes you watch the terrain much closer than you would in DF.
2, Map generation (close up)
Especially the trees, they are not directly stolen from DF, since DF isn't open source, but the generation code is heavily based on DF.
3, Map generation (embark screen)
The same layout as DF's, just with less detail (you can't search, biomes don't have alignments, the game placed deserts really weirdly: it doesn't make any sense to put them at the equator with no mountains to shield them from the rain clouds, the whole thing seems to be based on RNG, and not geography).
4, Embraking
Never seen any optional embarking screen in any game other than DF, and yet again, this game has it, and yet again, unpolished and unbalanced.
5, Setting destinations
Pretty similar to DF, but the dev left out zones for some reason, so you have to set the zones here too.
6, Game time is in (huge) ticks [I mean that there aren't 20k+ ticks in a seconds, instead, there is 1 tick per 0.6 seconds or similar]
Again, DF's game time is in ticks too, and some other game's (Runescape or C:DDA for example). This isn't as noticable as in DF, because the game has animations, but the system is the same, each unit moves a tile/tick, and each action takes a tick (however, since there are animations, the game runs much much more slowly than DF).
7, Scouts and raids
Scouts work really weird, because somehow your dwarves boring humans notice them instantly, it could be because of the lack of any stealth mechanic.

And I could mention more, but these are just what I saw in Nook's video. This game is a DF clone with unoriginal ideas and graphics that will lag the game in the long run (only if the game ever be able to support 200 units constantly). However, I don't think that the dev is a bad guy for doing this, I greatly appreciate his efforts. It's like that Pixel Dungeon is just a Rouge clone, but Pixel Dungeon became really popular, and so, the Rouge fanbase peaked. It's great that a person is making a DF demo that is easily understandable and accessible... or is it? DF is with revolutionary and original ideas that the world has never seen before in this setting, all of this for free of charge, meanwhile, the clone's developer is asking for 10$, for an idea that has already been establish, for an idea that already has a huge fanbase, for an idea that already has its own culture. This is the most disgusting thing about this game: the price tag. While I love DF forks, tilesets and mods, I will never play this game, for the sake of DF's dignity. I'm not saying "you aren't allowed to enjoy this hurr durr", I'm just saying that most of the DF fanbase will not like this.
